I got back to North Carolina this week.
I had spent the two weeks prior in Ohio, with my Dad.
For those who read the first piece about my Dad, thank you. The response was more than I expected and, to be honest, it helped. I felt more than guilty putting my writing projects aside, but I knew my focus needed to be at home, with my Dad. Thank you for granting me that grace.
